New Day, New Blog

Welcome to my new and improved blog! 

If we have much history together then you probably know this is not my first attempt at blogging. Or the second, or third... Check out the links page to find my 2014 Pacific Crest Trail and 2018 Continental Divide Trail blogs. I also have a very old and dated John Muir Trail website (also on the links page) that I hang onto just to remind me of where this whole hiking addiction began.

I'm over the idea of creating a new blog every time I decide to go on a little hike. I also have an old "theological" blog where I tried to set the world straight on how to talk about God. (It's still on the internet, but good luck finding it.) I don't think I am done talking about God, but I might have matured into a more modest and humble approach to sharing my ideas. You, dear reader, will be the judge of how much I have matured and if my theological musings are worth reading. 

With a bit more free time in retirement, I might also have something to say when I am not hiking or trying to correct everyone's theology. Interested in a rant about high-end audio products? Want to know my experience with 3D printing, drone piloting, setting up a garage workshop, or my thoughts on retirement planning? You might be surprised by the things I have an opinion about unless you are my wife and then you are painfully aware that I have an opinion about almost everything!
